BIOINFORMATICS
On our first seminar our speaker was Sir Neil Britana and he will be talking about bioinformatics. I really don’t have any idea what bioinformatics is. For me what I learned on that seminar is bioinformatics is a combination of biology and technology. By the help of computers scientist team up with computer programmers that will make programs for then so that capturing data will be much easier for them and by the use of computers it will make the work much faster. As I can remember bioinformatics is use to capture DNA samples so that scientist can study the different combination of DNAs so that they can find cure to those sickness. Basically bioinformatics Is use to discover new medicine.

 ANDROID
 The second group invited a speaker that is an android developer in this seminar I learned that android had already beaten IOS or apple. The speaker discuss the development of ANDRIOD from the first ANDRIOD up to Key lime pie this model will be released this October and as you can see the development of ANDRIOD is very fast that’s why it is leading nowadays. The speaker also told us that there are a lot of opportunities in developing ANDRIODS he also told us we can get a lot of money from ANDRIOD. The speaker also compares the reasons why android is leading it is just because of their games. As you can see thousand of games and applications are being developed in ANDRIOD compare to apple, BB, and Microsoft. The speaker also concluded that in the future ANDIORD will be still on the top of its competitor.

MAMS
GMA being one of the biggest t.v network in our country shared how MAMS help them improve their company. The speaker told us how technology (MAMS) help their company improve and save a lot of money before there was MAMS GMA use tapes on playing on-air the speaker said that they have a big room or building just for their tapes and I thing its about 1000 square meters. And people run all over the place to get tapes for them to be played on-air but now by the use of technology they called MAMS the space they are using are reduced and less man power is required. The advantage of MAMS is you can search the film or movie you want to play by searching it in the computer and there’s no need for someone to run all over the place and get the tapes. For me this helps GMA a lot if makes everything faster for them and they can save a lot of money and space by using MAMS.  

SAP
On our last seminar the topic is all about SAP. Most of the business now are using SAP it is because it makes everything easier and faster for them. I learned in the seminar that SAP is now has integrated a lot of emerging technologies like cloud computing. The speaker is from Accenture and I think I want to be in that company when I graduate. The speaker also told us that even we’re not programmers we can still work with SAP honestly hearing that makes me happy 
